Settler's Park in Rockton - Saturday Park WOD

this is at the park (helpful?!)Hi everyone. Tomorrow's (7/28) WOD will be at 8AM at Settler's Park in Rockton. I don't have the map skills to actually put that in this post. So, sorry?

Anyhow, the park is right behind the Rockton Inn, which is at 102 E Main St, Rockton, IL. I promise it is super easy to find.

If in doubt, look for the most noticble vehicle around...when you see that beacon, go towards it. You will find barbells there. And, we will WOD.

Grand Opening!!!

Alright all you CFB'ers...We are going to have a grand opening for the new location on September 14th.  That is a Friday.  We will be doing the benefit WOD FIGHT GONE BAD!!!  Getting started around 5 pm with beers after, and I am not even done yet.  There will also be a ribbon cutting ceremony.  How cool is that!  

So get people committed to donate.  I would suggest 10 cents a rep.  So if you hit that magical number of 400 hundred reps like I am gunning for that would be $40.  We will be donating all the proceeds to a local charity to be determined.  And I am taking suggestions on that.  

The CrossFit Cult

Came across this video today.  A pretty good look into the cult that is CrossFit.  If it is wrong I don't want to be right!  

And did you hear that part about CrossFit memberships being anywhere from $200 to $300.  I think I need to raise the rates...Just kidding.  I love the community we have here in Beloit.  Just keep on helping me build it!
