Look who showed up.

I had a good surprise this morning.  My brother showed up for the first time.  He has been talking about it for a while now and the motivation that he needed came from his buddy John Monaco out of Cali.  John is in town visiting so I decided to create a WOD in his honor and name it after him.  So here is the WOD:  

"The Monaco"

1 round on the minute every minute for 11 minutes.  If you finish early you get to rest.

 

  • 4 push-ups
  • 6 med ball throws over the pull-up bar.  20/14 lb ball
  • 8 kettle bell swings.  2/1.5 pood

More CrossFit Totals

Check out the video from this week of everyone's max lifts during the CrossFit Totals.  There were some big numbers posted but I'm sure we will be improving these numbers in the months ahead.  Great work everyone!

Only the first two clips are sideways.  I will make sure not to make that mistake again.

CrossFit Totals

So this week we are going to be collecting our CrossFit Totals and right out of the gate we have seen some impressive numbers.  Karri pressed 45 lbs which is 10 better than her previous and also deadlifted over 100 lbs for the first time.  Her previous best was 90 lbs and this time she got 115.  Great job.  Also below is proof of Major's PR of 365 lbs dead lift.  Take a look, he pick that up like it was nothing!

One hell of a WOD

Ryan and I did this WOD from the mainsite this weekend.  What a grueling one:

 5 rounds for time

  • 5 OHS at 135 lbs
  • 10 toes to bar
  • 15 Squat cleans at 85 lbs
  • 20 double unders

So I hope everyone is feeling strong this week because we are going to do our CrossFit Totals.  Which is a combination of Max Press, Back Squat, and Dead Lift.
