I love this WOD.  20 minute AMRAP of 5 pullups, 10 pushups, and 15 squats.  Just a true test of moving your own body weight.  20 rounds for this one is the goal.  If you can do that your body weight to strength ratio is at an ideal level.  But don't be satisfied with that.  Always push for more!

 

A Nasty One

Couple of weeks ago we did this 4 rounder and I want to apologize to all of you because it was a nasty one.  But like true CrossFitters you guys endured thru it and finished it.  Here are the details of this beast:

4 rounds for time of:

 

  • 15 Thrusters 95/55 lbs
  • 15 Pull-ups
  • 15 Burpees

 

You can tell that it was grueling because everyone was laid out on their backs afterwards.

Welcome Andy!

Please help me welcome our newest member Andy into the CrossFit Community.  Andy is a former pro-baseball player and he is looking for that new challenge and I think he was surprised by the baseline.  We will see him bright and early with the morning crew!  So if you get to workout with him make sure you give a warm welcome!

Welcome Ladies!

Everyone help me welcome our newest members into the CrossFit Beloit Family!  First up is a student from Beloit College; her name is Hana and she has dreams of serving as a CTI in the Navy.  CrossFit will give her the upper hand she needs!

Next up is Lani who is a complete power house.  She has had some exposure to CrossFit and I thing she found a good home with us!
