Rockin' The Mud Challenge

So; the majority of the CFB crew did not make the Rockin' the Mud Challenge.  It was an amazing event and such a blast to run.  Yes it was cold, I did not look forward to getting wet in 40 degree weather but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.  Raising money for a good cause as the Rock County Cancer Coalition is a reason to tough it out.  Most of you have done the tough mudder and let me tell you this race had more challenging obstacles and had better amenities at the end!  I was able to get warm and clean right away.  Thank you to everyone that participated and to Hendricks Commercial Properties, Corporate Contractors Inc., and Milton Family Recreation for putting on an amazing event.  I look forward to next year!

Paleo Challenge Winners

Long overdue I know, but you know what I have a life too...actually that is a joke, I have no life so therefore no excuse to not announcing this earlier.  So without further ado; besides thanks to everyone that participated in the paleo challenge, for the individual most on top of their diet and keeping excellent records goes to Diana!  Diana finished with a total of 318 points just nudging out Brittany by 10.  Way to go Diana and with that you win a $50 gift card to a grocery store of your choice to keep up that clean eating.  

And finally the sexy bitch award goes to Renee!  She made some amazing improvements and love to hear the stories of how when she put on her work pants and went to a new hole on the belt.  Way to go gurl!  Keep up the paleo and the results will keep coming!  Renee for the sexy bitch award you get a $50 amazon gift card.  You can buy a new belt or me some new shoes since I am a shoe whore!

Rockin' The Mud Challenge

The Rockin' The Mud Challenge is here!  

When: October 27, 2012, waives starting at 8:00am

Where: CCI Quarry Operations, 2175 Town Hall Road, Beloit WI  53511

Cost:  Adults $45

2 mile Rock Quarry Mud Challenge.  You have not seen a terrain like this in any race in the area.  Can you conquer the PIT?  Proceeds benefit the Rock County Cancer Coalition.

The first annual Rockin' The Mud Challenge will be held in Beloit WI at CCI Limestone & Excavation's Quarry.  This will be unlike any other mud run or terrain challenge you have seen!  This course will challenge the weekend warrior through seasoned athlete.  The race begins topside, through the mud pits, and down into the quarry.  10+ obstacles and a rugged terrain await.   Proceeds to benefit the Rock County Cancer Coalition.

Things I get to witness everyday!

Marshall "Chocolate Guiddyup" Davis Dead lifting 455 lbs.  Before that it was a bench press of almost 300 beating his previous pr by 30 lbs.  That is a big scary guy and once we get him moving efficiently he is gonna shatter records!  Marshall you are officially on my Zombie Apocalypse team!
